Alfredo Linguini & iPhones

Tales of a twenty-something's struggle in decision-making when it comes to upgrading technology.
To be (a follower and get an iPhone), or not to be? That is the question.

Currently, I am watching Ratatouille. I just had a delicious slice of homemade blackberry coffee cake. Now - debating on whether or not I want to sign a two-year agreement to a 60-80 dollar a month phone bill. Believe me, I have wanted to get an iPhone for forever! Everyone has one, it's so cool, all the apps, everything it can do... Sigh. I just have never been able to afford it. More like, never wanted to spend the money on one. Now, I can get the iPhone 3GS for $49...plus the plan etc. I know, it's not as fast at the iPhone 4 but I don't really care. It's only been out for like, a year or so. Technically it's still new. Everyone just wants to constantly update their phones to keep up with the times.

Let me tell ya this - my current cell phone that I have.... I have had since 2006. It is now 2011. All my phone does is make phones calls and sends texts. That. Is. It. I'm not complaining, because my phone has been awesome. It has survived soooo much! It's a durable little phone. I'll be sad to see it go. But I will LOVE my iPhone. :) That is, IF I do get one tomorrow. I'd get my own plan but family plans are cheaper. I hate that. Oh wells.

Back to my movie of the night, then off to bed early. Work starts early tomorrow.... weeeee :)
