"Weren't you born in like, 1996?"

Today has been an exhausting day! I woke up (late) and didn't get to work until 9:30... I'm supposed to be at the middle school from 8:30-10, then 10-3 at the high school. Anywho, seeing as I was late to the MS but early to the HS, I decided to make a stop at the local McDonald's for an any-size, a la carte, soft drink or sweet tea for one dollar. "I gotta dollar! I gotta dollar! I gotta dollar, hey, hey, hey, HEY!" I opted for the sweet tea. I then made my way back over to the high school. Today I tutored the freshmen and sophomore AVID classes. I must say, even though these classes are loud and crazy, they are my favorite. Even when the freshmen boys try to hit on me. It's hi-larious. I'm thinking, "Ok, I'm 23. You never had a chance. Plus, weren't you born in like, 1996?" Sigh. Gotta love the crazies though. It makes your stories just a tad more humorous. Especially for an individual like myself, who cannot tell a story to save my life. Seriously. I blog here and all, but if you notice, most of my posts are ramblings. They are bits and pieces of stories. I basically just tell the main points. I leave out details. Details are what kill me. I'm terrible at embellishing stories. Unless there is some sort of alcohol in my bloodstream... then I can talk forever.

So this evening, instead of finishing my quizzes and readings and discussions, I did the following:
-watched The Incredibles on the Disney channel. I'm like a 5 year old.
-did a little yoga and ab workout.
-now, currently viewing the Winter X Games on ESPN. Legit.
-future: I WILL DO MY QUIZ, READ, AND WRITE MY DISCUSSIONS. (I hope.)

On a happier note, John is driving down tomorrow afternoon!!! I'm super excited. It shall be a grand weekend. :)  It seems as if it has been forever since I have seen him last... technically it was only two weeks ago... but still. I can't wait!

By the way, my brother made the most delicious and unhealthy snack ever. Bacon and cheese wrapped into a crescent roll, baked in the oven. So. Freaking. GOOD. I'm making a trip to the grocery store so I can purchase more ingredients to make them in the morning for breakfast. I don't care how fattening they are. I'll run twice as long tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend my little munchkins! I know I will. :)
